All in the Cards--Chapter OneShe placed the four of Centaurs card down onto the series of cards in front of her.  The men playing with her grumbled slightly but paid her the four silver the rules of Mythic said they had to pay.  Hopefully Jonn would approve.  He hated it when she deliberately ended a game before she won a large majority of the money.  And she sorely did not want to disappoint her brother.   
“Let’s play another trick, Kiiry,” Ranald, one of the men at the table, begged.   
“But I have the last of your coins, Ranald,” she replied softly, barely being heard above the shouts of the other locals in All in the Cards--Chapter One

I finally got the chapter typed up!! *happy dance* First chapter done...more to go. But now I know what I want to do. Plus, I shouldn't have to go to my 8 am exam tomorrow, I got my research paper done...life's good. Now on to bigger and better things! Like the story idea Maiza let me steal...which I still need info for...x_x oh well, that's an issue for break. along with writing the next chapter of my more popular fanfic. haven't updated in nearly a year...oops! well, bedtime now. got more fun stuff to do tomorrow. like drive home!
